From Dubai to Texas
Filli began in Dubai in 2004, when Rafih Filli took over his father's cafeteria and started brewing a saffron chai that people lined up for. The nickname he carried since school became the name above the door.
Two decades later Filli pours in more than a dozen countries. Texas came first for the United States, opening in Houston in 2022. Today Hillcroft, Sugar Land and Carrollton keep the same kettle going.
